Purpose of the Lake County Fair Foundation
The Lake County Fair Foundation has been formed for charitable purposes, with its primary focus to provide financial support to the Lake County Fair to preserve the Fair’s heritage and viability. The primary objectives of the foundation include the following:
To develop financial resources by means of donations from members, friends and supporters; through fundraising events; and by fostering donations, grants and bequests;
To allocate these financial resources, along with volunteer work and efforts, to programs, events and activities that support and develop local organizations and educational opportunities within Lake County Fair’s heritage
To provide financial support for the repair and improvement of the publicly owned Lake County Fairgrounds, and to educate the community concerning the value and importance of the Lake County Fair and its community grounds and facilities.
